Relational Wellness Therapy and Consulting is a growing group therapy practice serving individuals, couples, and families throughout Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.
We provide culturally responsive, relational, and trauma-informed care in a supportive environment where clinicians can continue developing their skills while building a sustainable caseload. Location: Merrillville, Indiana and telehealth
Position Type: Part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time
Employment Type: W-2 employeeCompensation: $45 per completed client session
Schedule: Clinician-controlled, based on client needs and office availabilityWe are seeking a warm, personable, and dependable therapist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a clinician who wants the independence to manage their own schedule while receiving clinical support, supervision, administrative assistance, and opportunities for professional growth.
The selected clinician will provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families based on their areas of experience and interest. Experience working with couples is preferred, but clinicians who are open to receiving additional couples therapy training and supervision are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy within the clinician’s areas of competence
Complete intake evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation
Maintain documentation within 24 to 48 hours of each session
Manage scheduling and communication with assigned clients
Participate in required supervision, consultation, and team meetings
Maintain professional liability insurance
Follow practice policies, ethical standards, and applicable licensing requirements
Collaborate with the practice owner and other clinicians when clinical or administrative concerns arise
Maintain a consistent caseload and communicate changes in availability
Qualifications
Applicants must:
Hold a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field
Hold or be eligible for an active Indiana behavioral health license
Be legally authorized to provide services in the state where clients are located
Maintain individual professional liability insurance
Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Practice from a culturally responsive and inclusive perspective
Be comfortable working independently while remaining open to feedback and collaboration
Be able to provide telehealth services and, when applicable, in-person services in Merrillville
Successfully complete all required background checks, credentialing, and onboarding requirements
Associate-level and independently licensed clinicians are welcome to apply.
Preferred Experience
We are especially interested in clinicians with experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:
Couples and relationship therapy
Family therapy
Trauma and PTSD
Maternal and perinatal mental health
Children and adolescents
Identity development
LGBTQIA+ affirming care
BIPOC and culturally responsive mental health services
EMDR, Gottman Method, EFT, IFS, or other specialized approaches
Caseload Expectations
Part-time clinicians generally maintain approximately 10 to 20 completed sessions per week
Full-time clinicians generally maintain 20 or more completed sessions per week
Clinicians may begin part-time and gradually increase their caseload
Some evening or weekend availability is strongly preferred due to client demand
