Session Fee & Payment Options

My fee is $202* per 53-minute session. Intakes are a one-time fee of $227* (all subsequent sessions will be $202*). I accept payment via credit or debit card at the time of appointment.

While I am not in-network with insurance providers, many clients can receive partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. To make this easier, I offer Thrizer, a platform that helps streamline the reimbursement process so that you can focus on your care, not paperwork. My total cost per session includes a 1% service charge for utilizing the standard superbill submission via Thrizer (see: how session payments will look).

How Thrizer Initially Works

1. I run your insurance information through Thrizer’s benefits checker to verify your out-of-network benefits.

2. If you have a deductible (which is based on insurance provider and plan type), you will need to pay the full session rate ($200) until the deductible has been met.

3. Once your deductible has been met, your out-of-network benefits kick in!

   *If you do not have a deductible, your benefits will kick in immediately.

   **Most insurance out-of-network plans cover anywhere between 50%-80% of the bill. What your insurance will cover will be identified in the initial verification check.

   How Session Payments Will Look

   There are two payment options on Thrizer: Superbills and Thrizer Pay.

   A superbill is a receipt for services I will submit to your insurance for reimbursement via Thrizer. It includes details like the session date, cost, and therapist info. A service change of 1% will be added to the final total for the usage of Thrizer (this is already calculated into my total cost per session).

   *When working toward your deductible, there is no service charge. The service charge only begins once the deductible has been met.

   Thrizer Pay is a service that simplifies payment for out-of-network therapy sessions. Instead of paying my full fee upfront and waiting for insurance reimbursement, like you would with the superbill, you pay only your co-insurance amount (similar to an in-network copay). Thrizer covers the remaining cost and handles the insurance claim on your behalf. This service charges a 5% fee based on my session cost and eliminates the need to submit superbills or deal with insurance paperwork.

   Example: My session rate is $200 per session. Let’s say your insurance covers $175; you would pay $25 (your co-insurance) plus a $10 Thrizer fee (5% of $200), totaling $35.

   *If this option is what you are looking for, my baseline session fee would not include the 1%, as you are not using the superbill option. Therefore, intakes would be $225+ 5% service charge ($235), and all subsequent sessions would be $200+ 5% service charge ($210).
