As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a PhD in Couple and Family Therapy, I specialize in helping clients untangle complex relational and emotional experiences.     I also offer eye movement desensitization and processing (EMDR) services to work effectively with trauma.

    EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy designed to help you heal from traumatic memories. In this process, you’ll recall distressing events while focusing on an external stimulus, like the therapist’s finger moving back and forth. This unique technique helps your brain reprocess those memories, reducing their emotional impact and promoting healing and peace.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

  1. Initial Consultation (Free)
    A 15-20 minute video call to discuss your goals, answer questions, and ensure we’re a good fit.

  2. Intake & Assessment
    A full 50-minute session where we explore your history, present challenges, and start shaping a clear direction for therapy.

  3. Customized Treatment Plan
    We’ll co-create a therapy roadmap rooted in your values and desired outcomes, using approaches like EMDR, narrative therapy, or Gottman-informed strategies, depending on your unique needs.

  4. Ongoing Support
    We meet regularly (weekly or bi-weekly) for 50-minute sessions, continuously checking on your goals and adjusting our approach as needed.

  5. Growth & Closure
    Therapy is complete when you feel equipped to move forward confidently, with insight and tools you can carry throughout life.
